    To me, Amanda Lynn Mayhew, fitness is a lifestyle, a way to continue to be the best that I can on a daily basis. I live a busy life and I find ways to work it into my daily routines, no matter what they are. It takes just 5 minutes to do something to change your life.

    HOW I GOT STARTED: This story doesn't have a happy beginning but the end of it is how I got to where I am today.  As a child I never felt comfortable or confident with my appearance. I struggled with my weight and at my heaviest I was approximately 200 lbs at age 16. I began finding release threw partying and underage drinking. My relationships with my family and friends began to crumble and I had a severe reality check when I looked inside myself and saw how unhappy I was.

    After losing more than 60 lbs of extra weight since my most recent pregnancy with my youngest, Max, it hasn’t been an easy roadespecially compared to my first two pregnancies 13 years ago. I have had to work out twice as hard and my results just are not the same now that I am 44 years old.  Diet, regular exercise and a positive attitude are just some of the things I have had to do to make these changes.
